Dr. Shea Ross came to Gainesville to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Florida, where he served as Chief Medical Resident from 1997 to 1998. He joined Digestive Disease Associates in 2001 after completing his fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Florida. A native of Memphis, Tenn., Dr. Ross received a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Vanderbilt University in 1989 and earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee School of Medicine in 1994. Board certified in Gastroenterology, his special interests include pancreatic and biliary disease as well as therapeutic endoscopy.
