Dr. Enrique Molina joined Digestive Disease Associates in 2003 after serving for seven years on the medical faculty at the University of Miami, where he was active in clinical research, patient care, liver transplantation, and the fellowship training program at the Center for Liver Diseases. Dr. Molina earned his medical degree in his native city of Maracaibo, Venezuela, and completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Miami, where he served as chief medical resident. He also completed fellowships in Hepatology at the Center for Liver Diseases and Gastroenterology at the University of Miami in 1994. Dr. Molina has a special interest in viral hepatitis as well as other liver and biliary tract diseases. He is board certified in Gastroenterology.
