Procedure Information
Pre-Procedure Instructions
You will be advised by your Doctors office when to arrive on the day of your procedure
Please do not eat or drink anything after the time you were instructed during your pre admission visit
On the morning of your procedure, take only the medications that you were instructed to take by your doctor
Please wear clothing that is comfortable, loose fitting, and easy to remove
Please leave your valuables at home on the day of your procedure. Please bring your required co-pay and deductible the day of your procedure
Please arrange to have a responsible party to drive you home. You will not be allowed to drive yourself home.
If there is not a responsible person drive you your procedure will be cancelled by your Doctor. You may only take a taxi home if you have a responsible person ride with you.
Because of limited waiting space, we ask that you bring a maximum of two people with you
Eating facilities for your waiting family members are within a short walking distance
Do not wear eye make-up or nail polish on the day of your procedure
Should you have any concerns or questions before your procedure, please call the Endoscopy Center at (352)333-5900. Our hours are 7:00AM until 5:30PM, Monday through Friday. Any questions after hours should be directed to your physician
